Description

In September 2011, the speleological group CAI Vittorio Veneto decided to work in Cison di Valmarino of the cave known as "Bus de la grille". Located in the Valley of San Daniele, just before the Forest of Penne Mozze, the cavity opens in dolomitic limestone rock of the secondary period.

His training took place for karst dissolution of the rock, which allowed the creation of various rooms of different sizes communicating. In these environments, then, calcium carbonate began to settle "giving birth" to stalactites, stalagmites and curtains of considerable size; we recognize that these forms of concretion of rare beauty are not usual in our country, and this is one of the reasons why you do not understand because over the years there have been some vandalism.

The cave is in fact seen plundered many concretions formed over thousands of years, and then the mind of some unknown thought of throwing in the darkness several cubic meters of inert material transforming the cavity in a dumping ground.
